Solway Lass the Whitsunday's magnificent Tall Ship was built in Holland in 1902. Solway has an amazing history, being involved in both world wars, sailing the Baltic and the North Sea, first registered in Hamburg, with the name Solway Lass coming from the Solway Firth in Scotland. Today Solway Lass is beautifully maintained and provides leisurely paced fun sailing tours of the Whitsunday Islands. This Tall Ship experience will make you feel a bit like Pirates of the Caribbean. Guests can get involved and help pull up the massive sail, have a turn on the helm, or just relax on the large decks.
