(1 dive) Diving is available when we meet up with our rendezvous dive boat Tornado. Whether you are a certified diver or a first time diver, we offer all guests the opportunity to discover the underwater world. With multiple dive locations available, we have the ability to move to the best diving spot on the day. You can pre book a dive at the Explore Whitsundays office in Airlie Beach, or organize with the crew on tour. To guarantee availability we advise pre booking your dive before departure.
Whitsunday Blue is a BYO vessel, this means you are able to bring your own alcohol onto the tour (no glass). Drinking water is included throughout your tour, however soft drinks are available for purchase on board. The crew will keep a tab and you can pay at the end of your tour.
Don't worry, we supply swimming noodles and additional floatation as required. We will do a risk assessment on every guest before entering the water. While in the water the small tender will be relatively close by. We also have staff on look-out duty. In the Whitsundays, the reefs we visit are off the beaches, so it is pretty easy to make way to the beach.
Large bags cannot be taken on-board. Storage services are available in Airlie Beach for a fee, generally around $5.
Whitsunday Blue has a generator on-board, so guests are able to charge phones and tablets etc.
Guests can park vehicles at Abell Point Marina. It is a Pay and Display car park with the fee of $8.00 per day, payable by coins of credit card.
Saloon and cabins of Whitsunday Blue are air conditioned which is appreciated during our summer months.

Whitsunday Sailing trip was a delight between enjoying a gentle breeze and swimming in a light rainshower there was enough adventure/memories to leave a brilliant impression of our journey on the 'British Defender'. The people aboard the vessel would'nt have been better if handpicked by God himself, The cuisine was impecable, and satisfied my hunger throughout the adventure at sea. I could not be more satisfied with everything that transpired. The crew worked tirelessly to provide and unforgettable few days and succeeded wonderfully Sailing Whitsundays

Jen & I took the 3 day & 3 night Whitsunday magic cruise around the Whitsunday Islands. As this was part of our honeymoon we were looking for some pampering. We got more than we bargained for. There was never a dull moment from the time we set foot on the boat til the day we left for shore. Amazing crew, unbelievable sights, breath taking swimming & snorkeling and to top it off, we were fed like royalty. We will never forget the time we had our Magic Honeymoon on the Whitsunday Magic in the Whitsundays. All the Best and hope to see you again Paul & Jen PS Are you looking for any ship mates?

We're thinking about how cold it's getting here, then we think about the time we had on the Solway Lass (Nov 5th-8th 2002, cruise 364 I think) We already miss the company of our crew, the other guests, the ship, and the warm winds with the beautiful blue waters! We want to thank Marc, Dave, Shawn, Teagan, Davina, and Michelle for a wonderful time and hope our paths cross again sometime! Brian, Cathy, an Robyn.

Whitsunday Magic - We have just spent 3 days/3 nights on Whitsunday Magic sailing the Whitsunday Islands. Besides the sailing, snorkelling and beaches the attention to detail by the crew made it special. Soon after boarding we were escorted to our cabin, the tables on deck were kept clean and cleared, chairs were kept tidy and tea, coffee and water was available at all times. Even the napkins were folded differently each night. The evening talks on the islands we had been, and the talks in the glass bottom boat over the coral reefs. These may be small items but made the trip all the more memorable. Thank you to the crew of Whitsunday Magic Thank you

A "Skyline" corporate function on board Whitsunday Magic Sailing the Whitsundays.... 17/11/06-20/11/06. After a little trepidation to begin with, the Crew specifically Skipper Tim (mule) put us all at ease and we fell in to the grove of being seasoned sailors. Andy continuously provided us with many a daquari to "ease our seasickness", as Trent ensured our continuous comfort, whilst the remainder of the crew retold many funny stories and answered no question that was too silly. After lots of practice at keeping our eyes on the "nipple" we successfully navigated our way back into port Many hearts were broken as we left the ship, Timmy, Scottie, Dougie, Lochie, Stewie, Dan Drop in and see us if you are ever in brisbane just as Trent and Andy are doing Thanks for a truely spectacular adventure
Whitsunday Magic - Outstanding!

Whitsunday Magic : The food was fantastic the crew were friendly and helpfull snorkelling was great. Visited Stonehaven Bait Reef Hook Island and Whitehaven Beach.Would do it again without hesitation.
THANK YOU Had a lovely time on Whitsunday Magic and the weather was marvellous. Loved Airlie Beach. The girls in the office were terrific and it was nice to see how it all comes together after we make a booking. Why I left it so long to visit the Whitsundays, I'm not sure. The crew on the boat were professional and knowledgeable and I am thinking of adopting the young chef (Clint). Judy Carroll - Brisbane
Whitsunday Magic was magic I enjoyed every minute from snorkelling the beautiful reefs to enjoying the fantastic meals and wine and company in the evenings. The crew were awesome too. Jenni UK
British Defender Whitsunday Sailing - I can say that I saw Whitsunday Islands by rain. On 16-18 Feb 2008 it was stormy and we had horizontal rain. But thanks to the crew they were very professional and they tried hard to provide us a pleasant stay aboard. The good thing is that I have to come back for sailing and diving by nice weather. Nice Greetings from the freezzzing Austria - Joe

Solway Lass Review - Whitsunday Islands - We sailed on the Solway Lass 9th/12th Feb 2008. The weather could have been kinder, we had rain rain and even a cyclone didn't spoil it for us. The crew were all fantastic great fun and totally professional. Mikey, Tess, Chris and Shelley, while Marcus the skipper deserves a special mention for reading the weather so well and seeking shelter in Nara Inlet from the cyclone we were definately in safe hands. We will be back but not in the rainy season. For Andrew it was a welcome return to Tall Ship sailing, for me it was a first but as I was born beside the Solway Firth it was like being a part of local history for Jamie at 20 it was fun and adventure all the way. We recommend this Tall Ship experience to all.

Whitsunday Sailing Review - Sailing on British Defender - Thanks Glen Greg Jack and Lisa for a wonderful journey. Great sailing great food great everything. Thanks so much
Whitsunday Magic Cruise - We went on the 6 day journey and while we did not get to go to the reef because of bad weather the crew did everything possible to make sure we did not go to the same place twice. The food was great (still looking for the recipe for the Coral Trout in lemon sauce) crew was amazing even slowing so we could take sunset pictures. One of our best holidays ever. Thanks again. Pat Martin Canada
Sailing the Whitsundays on the Southern Cross was one of the best things Ive done in my life The Whitsunday Islands are truly an amazing part of the world and with the expertise of Captain Mike as well as Lisa we were able to go to some amazing places in the Whitsunday Islands while still enjoying a proper sail. There was no one place that was a highlight every place we went was stunning. I highly recommend doing this trip I will never forget this trip nor the others on the boat who made it such an incredible experience. Anna
